If you’re a serious family camper or tend to visit fairly rural sites (away from the toilet block) then a high-quality toilet tent is essential. Not just for the obvious reasons, but it’s versatile enough as a shower unit or for additional storage space. The Khyam Privy Bivvi is all three and a great addition to your camping gear for anyone that wants that bit of extra space.

The Privy Bivvi's pitching and striking takes a matter of minutes so you know that you are free to have a carefree trip. The tried and tested Rapidex™ Quick Erect System uses strong, solid fibreglass poles and durable, hard wearing nylon joints. All of the poles remain sewn into the flysheet when the tent is packed away. To pitch you simply unfold the tent and lock the joints into place within a matter of seconds. Still packing down into a compact carry bag, this tent is ideal for all your needs in any weather.

A tailored opening on the underside of the roof provides an access point for a shower head, which allows for use as a toilet tent.

Privvy Bivvy

Brillinat design, I have tried several cheap tolet tents and all have been poor quality rubbish that do not stand up to any kind of inclement weather. The Khyam version is the Rolls Royce of camping loos, expensive but sometimes you have to pay for quality.

Would have given 5 stars but was disappointed that the ground sheet wasn't included in the price
