This is a very well made and super easy tent to set up. The only draw back for me who is 5ft 11 and fairly heavy is that its way too low to get in and out. A friend of mine who is approx 5ft 8 and slim struggled to get in and out and also had to resort to crawling in on hands and knees and I found this to be problematic for a week long trip. Other than that great tent, well made and worthwhile.
I have had a Khyam Highlander for about 5 years. I purchased it second hand in good condition(2007 model) from a mate. I use it quite a few times throughout the year on my motorbike. It is the best tent I have ever had for touring on a motorbike. It fits well across the pillion seat and is not as wide as the panniers. It is so easy to pitch and also to pack up. Easy to get it back in its storage bag. Well made and always been totally waterproof. It withstands the wind well. I always use a tarp under it to stop any mud or damp to the ground sheet. Never got around to getting a footprint. Front porch is big enough to put panniers and bags in. I have never found a better tent and have just brought a brand new one to replace it. Definitely recommend.
Great tent - first outing was a week in Holland where it was put up and down each day to move campsites. Although, a porch groundsheet would have been the icing on the cake. Brilliant product!!
Great tent. Easy to erect and out down. Replaces a 22 year old version that wore out and is as good as the last one.
A superb tent that really does pitch in 20 seconds! Well worth paying a little more for such a good and easy to use product. Fits well on the back of my motorcycle, and is light to move Round and pitch, but very strong when erected! Well done Khyam for a superb product!
Very quick, simple and easy to erect.
This is my 4th Khyam highlander ⛺ and they are FANTASTIC tents I use mine nearly every weekend from March until October (and I use it for 5/6weeks in early September) they are a fantastic tent and are easy to erect and pull down in the severist of weather
