The kids are off school and the sun is finally shining outside! Easter is the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy some time with your children. Here are some of our favourite activities that you can do in the great outdoors this Easter. We hope that you have a cracking day!

How could we miss this one out? We have to say this might be our favourite Easter activity! You don’t have to stray too far from home to enjoy a camping trip. Pack up the car and grab your tent, the kids will love getting to go on an adventure and you’ll get some time away from the laptop! You can even enjoy some of the activities below while out on your camping trip if you plan in advance. Just make sure you bring along some of the essentials we mentioned here!
PS. Don’t forget the Hot Cross Buns. They taste great when toasted over the campfire!

Egg Hunt
Take some time the night before Easter and hide some eggs around the garden. The kids will love the challenge of finding them in the morning! Create a map with clues for the kids and make it into a competition, with a chocolate reward!
Tip: We would suggest hiding some plastic eggs around the garden in case it rains, you don’t want real delicious chocolate going to waste… or getting eaten by a friendly local!

Bike Ride
Is there any activity that makes you feel more free than riding a bike? This is a great free activity that kid’s love, if you have small children make sure to bring along a bike aid for them! If you’re child doesn’t know how to cycle, then this holiday is the perfect time for them to learn. Take a look online for your local cycle routes and head out for day– we would also suggest taking a picnic for the perfect lunch on the go! Plus, after all that cycling you’ll deserve some chocolate once you’re home…

Egg Race
Kids love decorating some hard boiled eggs! In the morning get all of your supplies ready – think glitter, paint and lots of coloured pens! The more creative your kids can get with their eggs the better! Once the eggs are all set and ready to go, get everyone into the garden with a spoon each and have an egg race. To make it a little more difficult you could even add some obstacles.
Teddy Bears Picnic
Get out the picnic blanket, snacks, drinks and of course, your child’s favourite teddy! They’ll love the time outside and the chance to eat some delicious cake and chocolate!
Our main tip? Have fun! Easter is all about spending time with your family, so we hope you have a wonderful day regardless of what you get up to! What are doing this Easter Khyampers?
