Khyam tents are built to last, they are tested to meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the MOD, including testing in wind tunnels.

Careful choices including fibreglass or aircraft grade aluminium tubing ensure that you get strength and durability but without unnecessary weight. Flysheets are another concern alleviated.

The Weatherweave™ material used is tested to a minimum hydrostatic head of 2.5m. In other words the material remains waterproof with the equivalent of eight feet (2.5m) or more of water sitting on it! Enough for the worst British weather and most expedition needs.
