Khyam's Motordome Range is its flagship Driveaway Awning range, and sets the benchmark for Driveaway Awnings. Instantly recognisable by it's Grey and Black Colour with fluorescent banding, the Motordome Range has a sleek, revolutionary look, innovatively designed the range features a specially commissioned Rapidex Quick Erect joint and aluminum pole system, which is 'sewn in' to the flysheet, removing the need to make up poles and slide into sleeves on the awning, which means these fully compatible Driveaway Awnings can be pitched in minutes. The flysheet is made from Khyam commissioned Polyester Weatherweave Pro, which is rated to 5000HH, and benefits from all seams being dual stitched and taped for extra protection from the elements. Khyam Motordome Awnings also have built in Air Circulation technology to ensure optimum comfort, and to reduce condensation build up. All windows have privacy curtains, and either the front or side panels of these luxurious awnings can be rolled up or used as a canopy with the included canopy poles.
The uniquely designed connection tunnel has a standard awning rail beading sewn on the end, and with the use of the optional Driveaway Strips, Kador Convertor or Pole and Clamp kit, it can be attached to any awning rail (including the Reimo Multirail), wind-out awning (including Fiamma or Omnistor), 'C' channel or similar fixing. Unlike other driveaway awnings the patented design of the versatile Khyam Motordome Range tunnel means draughts are significantly reduced between the tunnel and the vehicle. When you driveaway, simply zip down the driveaway door, roll up and toggle the door onto the frame, and away you go.
The Motordome Range comprises of the Tourer, Classic and Sleeper (which comes complete with 4 berth inner tent), ideal for VW Camper sized vehicles including VW Classic Campers, T4, T5 and California. For Motorhomes and Coachbuilt Campers with hinged or large sliding doors, the larger connection tunnel of the Excelsior 780 and Sleeper Plus 780 not only offer additional room but have the added benefit of allowing the larger sliding doors to open fully within the tunnel.
Optional extras for the Motordome Range include tailored carpets, groundsheets for each model (which also cover the connection tunnel), and for the Tourer, Classic, and Excelsior 780 models a 2 berth inner tent with sewn-in groundsheet.
